Solar Power: Rental Agreement for Panels
The Forward Rental Agreement, or “FRA”, is the legal agreement between you and our company. It governs the rental of the solar panels, inverters, and related solar equipment. The rental agreement is made up of three parts.
The first part is the application. This is where you will state your interest in a forward rental of a solar generated electricity system from us and your acceptance of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The application is auto-filled for you with the information that you provide to during your solar system reservation. The only thing that you must do is verify that all of the information is true and correct and then sign and return the corporate copy to the Citizenre. We will also request that you return the associate copy, but all of this will be printed for you and self-addressed stamped envelopes will be provided to help expedite this step.
The second part of the rental agreement is the General Terms and Conditions. These are standard terms and conditions that are general to all FRAs. A copy of the terms and conditions can be found in the customer account area. We recommend that you review these terms and conditions and that you go so far as to print them out and file them with your copy of the application and the soon to be delivered Letter of Acceptance.
The Letter of Acceptance (LOA) is the final part of the FRA. The LOA is our evidence to you stating our acceptance of your application and the terms set forth on it. This LOA is what guarantees the contract Rate for the duration of our agreement. It also identifies where the solar system will be located and used. The LOA will be made available to you for download and for printing in the customer area.
It is important to keep all three of these documents easily accessible to you, as you may need them when communicating to Citizenre and or its agents and assigns.
Most importantly, entering into a rental agreement is how you are going to guarantee today’s price of electricity for however long you wish to rent the solar energy sysem.
